Come into the warmth and color of the ALL Gallery this season and let the beautifully displayed artwork brighten your mood. October’s show in the gallery, entitled, It’s Primarily Secondary, will feature 2D and 3D art utilizing the colors of purple, green and orange. Our lovely Gates Block garden is literally blooming. Thank you to everyone who donated supplies and time to make it a success. Thank you, too, to Nicholas Sarris, our generous landlord, for his donation of the black fencing that defines the garden itself.

We encourage new and present members to join one of our committees. Please contact the individual committee chairs by email. [see side bar]

Benefits of membership include yearly members only shows, reduced entry fees, and discounted commission on art sold of 25% (non-members pay 40% in open shows). It’s easy to join online. Go directly to our website at and click on the "JOIN ALL" tab. To renew your membership, click on the "PAY YOUR DUES" tab.

The Coop Committee has available spaces for rent. Contact Margarida Correia for more information:

The Gallery Committee has new members. Thank you…Elaine Woods, Daniel McNamara, Mark Hemenway, Carolyn Bonier and Don Jeffers for helping ALL develop and implement our future gallery shows in 2018. Our last show of 2017 will be The Holiday Treasures Members’ Show. This year, the entry fee is further reduced to $15 and up to five entries will be allowed. There will be a size restriction. The first show of the new year in 2018 is entitled, “In the Nude”, an open show which will also feature more of John Greenwald’s art in the Greenwald Gallery. Pay attention to member email announcements regarding the prospectus. Also, the 2018 line up of shows will be posted on the ALL website in October.

The John Greenwald Gallery will be available in 2018 for single or small group shows. If you are interested in organizing a show, download the Greenwald Gallery Guidelines for information.

The gallery is available for Event Rental. Please contact Steve Syverson for information.

Repetition, plus innovation, is the challenge for the Marketing Committee. While both terms seem contradictory, they describe what we attempt to do. Meeting once a month but continually communicating via email, the committee meets deadlines for advertising in Artscope Magazine, social media, general announcements, exhibit postcards and other advertising, all to enhance public interest to visit our gallery. Contact Marshall Moyer if you would like to join our team. (see side bar)

Their Speakers Program includes artists drawn from the full spectrum of artist communities in the Greater Lowell area. Installation artist, Amy Archaumbault, delivered a visually entertaining talk on her art and creative process after the ALL June monthly membership meeting. Archaumbault builds 3D environments in space that ask the viewer to not just look, but to touch and experience them through action. Her most recent work, "Hideout", was installed at the Boston Children's Museum. Amy has a BA in Studio Art and Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and an MFA from University of Pennsylvania.
